Summers Inman appointed as ProCure22 Trainer

Summers Inman has been appointed as a Trainer for the NHS ProCure22 Framework, covering health and social care in England.

Following a rigorous application process, involving submission of an Expression of Interest, Presentation and Interview, Derek Brydon was successful in securing one of three places nationally. The selection panel comprised the Department of Health (DH) and the P22 Training Working Group (represented by all 6 PSCP’s).

This is a 4-year appointment, covering the duration of the framework, to 30 September 2020.

The courses we are currently appointed to deliver are:

1) Pre-construction phase

2) Construction phase

3) Commercial


The training content focuses on the P22 Framework and NEC3 Contract.


Since his appointment, Derek has delivered the first P22 Course at The Christie, Manchester. This was very well attended and positive feedback was received.

Summers-Inman are delighted to announce the appointment of Ashleigh Grange, William Montgomery, Ben Tully, Graham Hall, Kane Doris Benson and Rebecca Cowan as we continue to expand our Newcastle Office.

Ashleigh, William and Ben join the Quantity Surveying team whilst Graham and Kane strengthen the Building Surveying team, supported by Rebecca in the Admin team.

Graham Hall who is from the North East and is currently studying an MSc in Building Surveying, commented “I am really excited to take up a role within Summers-Inman, working for a well-respected construction consultant. MVE Award

Summers-Inman are pleased to announce that the Motor Vehicle Engineering Workshop for Leicester College has been shortlisted in the Small Non-Residential Scheme of the Year category at the 2016 ProCon Awards.

Summer-Inman acted as Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor and CDM Co-ordinator for the project.

The Motor Vehicle Engineering Workshop is a modern single storey teaching facility at Leicester College’s Abbey Park Campus designed to accommodate the growing numbers of learners signing up for motor vehicle engineering courses at the college.

The new workshop includes two classrooms and extensive practical facilities for car and motorcycle skills. The steel framed building provides 600 square metres of workshop and teaching spaces with facilities for up to 80 learners at one time and includes a large arched feature window to maximise natural light in the classrooms. In addition the building is fitted with state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical installations such as electronically operated car ramps, compressed air lines, retractable vehicle extraction ventilation systems, high level radiant panels, LED lighting and IT installations throughout.
