His experience includes more than 1 million sq ft of retail development, 1 million sq ft of offices, half a million sq ft of warehousing and distribution, a £200 million major industrial manufacturing facility, a number of bus depot and car showrooms, university and schools projects and several hundred inner city private sector apartments.

In 2004 the David formed a dedicated NHS LIFT team to deliver and manage privately funded health projects to the public sector throughout the UK. The team is now responsible for more than £300 million of construction development.

David is still a dedicated Newcastle fan and season ticket holder, travelling all over Europe to watch them play and old enough to remember the last they won anything! Away from the office his interests include music, especially Blues, visiting New York as often as possible and enjoying the countryside. He lives in Allendale, Northumberland, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and has recently discovered the rural game of quoits, playing for Allendale in the Allen Valley League against other like minded outdoor drinkers and hoping for a decent summer.
