Associate Director, based in Edinburgh
Gary is an Associate Director in the Edinburgh office and is a Quantity Surveyor with a 19-year professional background in Quantity Surveying and Employers Agent work. Since joining Summers-Inman in 1994 he has built up a wealth of experience in the Social Housing field having worked with the majority of the developing Housing Associations in the east of Scotland.
Gary was Quantity Surveyor / Employers Agent for Kintry Housing Partnership's £20m phased Area Regeneration at Craigmillar in Edinburgh, Dunedin Canmore Housing Association's £17m phased Area Regeneration at Oxgangs and Fife Housing Association's rolling programme of new build housing in the Abbeyview area of Dunfermline in Fife.
He has also delivered a number of Sheltered, Very Sheltered, Care and Mixed Use facilities for clients such as Castle Rock, Bield, Dunedin Canmore and Kirk Care Housing Associations. More recent experience includes his QS / EA role for Dunedin Canmore on a major £50m new build, refurbishment and environmental regeneration project in the Moredun and Hyvot areas of Edinburgh.
Gary has interests in travel, motoring and fitness, and balances his professional life by enjoying the many social and cultural aspects of Edinburgh living.
