Associate Director
Edward is an Associate Director based in our Leicester Office and is an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor with nearly 10 years’ experience in all aspects of commercial building surveying.
Edward joined Summers Inman in 2021, and prior to that worked for a national multi-disciplinary firm of property and construction consultants and the NHS earlier in his career. Edward has extensive experience in providing both traditional building surveying and project management roles and brings a practical and pragmatic approach to successfully delivering projects in the public and private sectors. His core work focusses on design and specification, contract administration, party walls, dilapidations, clerk of works/ quality monitoring, building surveys and defect diagnosis across domestic and social housing, education, retail and commercial sectors.
Edward specialises in the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 and provides significant support to Building Owners and Adjoining Owners where this specialism is required from small property developments to £multi-million commercial and housing developments including complex city centre developments throughout the UK.
Out of work, Edward enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, going to the gym and is a keen rugby and football supporter (Leicester City for his sins).
