Associate Director
Richard is an Associate Director based in our Birmingham Office, with 25 years of experience in the construction and property industry.
Richard has experience as PQS / EA / PM and client side in most sectors including Commercial, Residential, Health, Process (Distillery and Battery Production), Education, Retail, Logistics and Distribution, Fit out, Mixed Use etc.
Richard has worked on projects ranging from small and complex to large £250m+; from site based PQS to head of QS for a large European bank. Richard also has experience of working in the PRINCE2 environment.
Richard has experience of working with clients to deliver their projects on cost and programme, from inception through the whole life of the project and into operation.
In addition, Richard has experience of working within the Digital environment, heading up a company that delivered 3D laser scanning to BIM (and beyond) for UK Government.
Richard makes a point of understanding what his clients really need, to ensure that their needs are not just met, but are exceeded, to give an enjoyable experience.
Richard has mainly worked in the JCT D&B environment; however, he has experience of traditional and management contracting also. In addition, he has experience of NEC and bespoke forms of contract.
Outside of work, Richard spends his time with his children, and hiking / walking.
