Rory is a chartered Quantity Surveyor based in our Leicestershire Office with 15 years of experience in the construction industry across multiple sectors such as Commercial, Residential, Education and responsive routine maintenance.
Rory is an enthusiastic and confident professional with a firm understanding of all standard forms on construction contracts. He is financially aware with a commercial attitude toward problem solving and has a great understanding of contract law and dispute resolution.
Rory is a pro-active team leader who thrives on meeting team objectives and project goals. He is experienced in standard methods of measurement including SMM7 and NRM 2 and has an outstanding knowledge of schedule of rate-based pricing methods. He has valuable experience in the elements of pre and post contract services including estimating, cost planning, tender preparation, and evaluation through to post contract cost control and reporting.
Rory is heavily involved in the development of junior members and the streamlining of internal procedures such as the producing of priced documents, cost planning and benchmarking.
In his spare time Rory spends most of his time rock climbing, training for rock climbing and spending time with his family and talking about rock climbing.
