Project Outline: The NGS MacMillan Unit integrates oncology, haematology, and palliative care departments into one department at the Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
Project objectives included the provision of a calm, non-clinical environment that would be much more than just a typical hospital department, while maintaining a high-quality healthcare environment both internally and externally.
The main treatment areas are located on the first floor offering patients superb views out over the surrounding countryside.
