Project Outline: Following a gap analysis undertaken by their property team, Severn Trent Water embarked on an ambitious programme of work to establish standardised processes and procedures for the statutory compliance of their building stock. Programmes included Fixed Wire Testing and associated remedial works, Fire Risk Assessments and associated fire safety work, Asbestos removal and encapsulation, and an extensive roof replacement programme

Roles and Achievements:
Employed as Programme Managers on many of the Work Stream Programmes, Summers-Inman established a PMO to develop standard processes, file naming conventions and reporting, as well as advising on complying with current legislation and establish planned and preventative maintenance plans for their estate.
Outputs from the programme have included a full built asset database for the property team delivered in SharePoint with a dashboard that now graphically reports via maps on the status of compliance across the entire estate by organisational management unit, geographical counties, function and site.
