Project Outline: We acted as Employers Agent and Quantity Surveyor on the delivery of a 15,000 SQFT Industrial Unit at Reedswood Way, Walsall together with the full business park infrastructure Works including all Off Site Works to enable the site to receive future units.

Roles and Achievements: Summers-Inman worked closely with F W Thorpe PLC who had purchased the Unit and were occupying on completion of the base build to ensure that the base build design was co-ordinated with their proposed fit out works to ensure sensible provisions for example drainage pop up positions and sump pits were designed into the base build works to prevent costly and abortive works as part of their fit out contract. This was managed by back to back agreements with the Developer.
The occupier had a very challenging timescale by which to be out of their existing premises and operational in these new premises. Against the odds this challenge was achieved, with all parties working together in a sensible and pragmatic manner at all times to ensure the end goal was achieved. Summers-Inman are pleased to have contributed to this success.
