Project Outline: Construction of a new 1,380m² two storey state of the art Primary Care Medical Centre including a pharmacy dispensary unit. The site is of significant historical interest and was home to an Edwardian farmhouse. The site is also in the middle of a conservation area very close to Moot Hill which is the site of an 11th century motte and bailey fortress.

Roles and Achievements: Before any work could commence, a team from Humber Archaeological Partnership performed trial trenching. From these trenches, two chalk walls, a large chalk well containing mediaeval pottery and a Japanese sword from around the 1900’s were located.
The project achieved a BREEAM ‘Excellent rating.
