Statement regarding COVID-19

Summers-Inman would like to clarify our position regarding the current COVID-19 crisis.

We are committed to playing our part in helping get through this time of uncertainty and as such have taken steps to focus on keeping people safe and healthy. We are fully supporting our clients, maintaining any contractually important meetings and those visits which are Health & Safety related. However, we will be protecting our staff and their families by restricting non-essential meetings or visits.

Therefore, in light of the current situation, Summers-Inman has instructed staff to stop all non-essential travel and, until further notice, any attendance at business development catch-ups, CPD events and/or Trade/Professional Institution Conferences. This has commenced from Monday 16 March and will stay in force until further notice.

We have instructed all our Project Managers, when arranging meetings, to avoid meeting in person wherever possible and use tools such as telephone or video conferencing to facilitate the meetings. We trust that this initiative will be supported by others in the construction and property community.

As most of you will have also done, we have activated our business continuity plan and are preparing all of our staff to ensure that they will be able to work remotely from home, should the need arise.

As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve we are monitoring developments closely.
