Summers-Inman appointed to major public sector approved supplier agreement

Award-winning construction and property consultancy, Summers-Inman, has successfully secured a staggering 30 places on the Procure Partnerships Framework Approved Supplier Agreement.

The four-year framework which launches in August 2020, provides Summers-Inman the opportunity to procure and deliver services within the North East, Yorkshire, North West, East Midlands, West Midlands, East of England, London and the South East.

The Procure Partnerships Framework Ltd was established to support public sector bodies to compliantly and effectively procure supplier partners to deliver their major capital projects.

This is the first version of this framework which is for use by public sector bodies across the UK. Eligible users include, academies, schools, ambulance services, colleges, fire and rescue services, government departments, housing associations, NHS bodies, police authorities, health and social care providers and universities.

The places secured on 30 lots across eight geographic areas are:

North East – Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Principal Designer

Yorkshire – Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Principal Designer

North West – Project Management, Building Surveying, Principal Designer

East Midlands – Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Principal Designer

West Midlands – Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Principal Designer

East of England – Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Principal Designer

London – Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying

South East ­– Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Principal Designer

Summers-Inman was assessed against several selection criteria including relevant experience, framework management, cost, and performance management. Social value approach and delivery was a significant element of the competitive process, an area that is a significant focus for both Summers-Inman and Procure Partnerships.

Alex Lodge, Director at Summers-Inman, will act as Framework Director for the Approved Supplier Agreement. He said:
