International Women’s Day on March 8th is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality. The theme this year is that collectively we can all #InspireInclusion.
Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate. It is also a day when thousands of fund-raising activities for female-focused charities get underway.
When we inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion, we forge a better world. When women themselves are inspired to be included, there’s a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment.
