The Leeds office is planning expansion of its northern operations after new project wins worth over £90m in construction value.
The Thorpe Park-based Leeds team has enjoyed a solid run of success over the last year, celebrating its appointment to a wide range of schemes spanning various sectors including housing, healthcare and extra care, hotels/leisure, education, retail and commercial/private development.
At Filey, Summers-Inman is providing employer’s agent and quantity surveying for Beyond Housing on its £16 million development of 113 new homes for sale at Mill Meadows. Coupled with ongoing schemes for Yorkshire Housing and many of the region’s other Registered Providers, the residential and extra care sectors continue to gather pace.
Having also picked up work through winning places on several public sector frameworks, Summers-Inman has also recently had further success in being appointed to provide Project Management Construction Consultancy Services to the Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, via the NHS SBS Framework.
In Sheffield, Summers-Inman is providing project management and quantity surveying services for the development of two net zero carbon schemes on behalf of leading property developer Grantside Ltd. C-N Tower will provide new Grade A office space in the city centre, whilst at Kelham Island, Hive will create a new co-living and co-working development that will offer resident facilities such as communal kitchens, roof top allotments, laundry/café facilities and dedicated working and rest zones.
With four new staff appointments, in business development, quantity surveying, building surveying and project management, the Leeds office is expanding. Director, David Blakey, believes that the foundations are now set for further steady expansion of the team as well as a move to larger office accommodation in the near future. Commenting on the recent string of new business wins, he said:
