Summers-Inman secures convincing EN:Procure Framework win

Award-winning construction and property consultancy, Summers-Inman, has successfully secured 10 lots on the EN:Procure Consultants Framework Agreement.

The framework, which launches in August 2020, provides Summers-Inman the opportunity to procure and deliver services across the three regions of Yorkshire & Humber, East Midlands and the North West.

EN:Procure is a not for profit procurement consortium established in 2006 to serve the construction procurement needs of the social housing landlord community in Yorkshire & Humber.

Whilst this is the first version of the framework to be launched, Summers-Inman was already working extensively with social housing and local authority clients in the sector before this appointment.

The 10 lots secured on EN:Procure’s Consultants Framework Agreement are:

  • Employer’s Agent / Quantity Surveyor – Yorkshire & Humber, East Midlands and North West.
  • Building Surveying – Yorkshire & Humber, East Midlands and North West.
  • Principal Designer – East Midlands
  • Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy – Yorkshire & Humber, East Midlands and North West.

To be considered for EN Procure Consultants Framework Agreements, consultancies were required to demonstrate strong finances, relevant experience and mirror EN:Procure’s passion for social value.

David Blakey, Director at Summers-Inman, commenting on Summers-Inman’s impressive performance, said: “We are delighted to have secured a position on the framework across all three regions.  We look forward to developing our relationship with the framework team and clients, building on the excellent work we are delivering with public sector organisations.”

EN:Procure Director of Operations Emma Mottram commented, “Following a detailed and challenging test of so many tenderers’ capacity, competency and efficiency we are delighted to have achieved such a diverse offer in the Framework, with a mix of larger national practices as well as smaller local businesses.  We are very much looking forward to working with them to find solutions that meet the needs of our members and their communities in the current challenging economic climate.”

Summers-Inman aspires to be the consultant of choice within all its operational areas due to the high standard of work, integrity and added value its team brings to each project.  This convincing series of appointments across three sizeable geographies and a range of disciplines is a sound demonstration of its capabilities.
