In response to the Government’s announcement on Monday, Summers-Inman has instigated the next stage of our Business Continuity Plan which involves almost all staff now working from home.
We have instructed all employees that, as of 17 March 2020, they must avoid all face to face meetings. Please note that all project staff will be able to join meetings via telephone conferencing and will be able to join in on most popular video conferencing and screen sharing tools. Where our project managers arrange and run meetings, they will be setting these up either via our telephone conferencing system or online via Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business.
Almost all of our tools, files and data is available to staff online through our cloud based servers so we believe that the disruption to the service you receive should be limited to none attendance at any face to face meetings and the avoidance of any low priority site visits. We trust you will understand our decision.
More detailed plans are being formulated with the appropriate risk assessments and planned working arrangements for attendance on site to ensure valuations, certificates and bank monitoring reports are issued in accordance with contract conditions.
Like you, we don’t know what is likely to happen in the next few weeks and months however we will be continually adapting to these unique and unprecedented changing circumstances to ensure that we provide the best service we possibly can without any unnecessary risks to our staff and their families.
Should you have any questions regarding this, please don’t hesitate to ask.
