James is a Director based in our London Office, is a chartered Building Surveyor with over 16 years of experience in the Property & Construction industry both as a Building Surveyor and Project Manager.
Providing experience covering Professional Building Surveying matters such as Strategic Property Advice relating to property disposal and acquisition, Party Wall Matters, Feasibility Studies, Condition Surveys, Building Surveys, Pre-acquisition Surveys, Dilapidation Matters and, planning and building regulation submissions. In addition to Employer’s Agent, Contract Administration, Project Management and Development and Monitoring Services. This experience extends to working with owners, occupiers, developers and funders across both the Public and Private Sector with this covering sector areas that include Social Housing, Private Residential, Education, Health and Commercial Office and Industrial work.
James joined the Practice in 2012 to establish a Building Surveying team within London having previously worked for Stiles Harold Williams where he was responsible for High End Residential Management clients on a number of prestige mansion blocks and servicing commercial instruction arising from the internal retail and agency clients.
James is the Framework Director/Lead for several key commissions the most notable being in the Defence Sector for Amey Defence Services were by he is overseeing a large stock condition survey programme. In addition to this he is heavily involved in the delivery of Employers Agent Services on a number of new residential schemes.
In his spare time James is a keen snowboarder, enjoys playing football and spending time with his family and is currently learning Spanish to engage more the Spanish side of the family.
