Summers-Inman is proud to support National Apprenticeship Week 5th-11th February 2024, marking the 17th annual celebration of apprenticeships.
This year’s theme is ‘Skills for Life’, encouraging everyone to consider how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and employers to develop a workforce with future ready skills.
Award-winning construction and property consultancy, Summers-Inman, are pleased to continue to invest in the training opportunities available to all staff and actively engage with education partners to engage as many young people as possible to work within the industry.
Peter Smith, associate director at Summers-Inman Newcastle said:
“We need to ensure that there are enough people engaged in the industry from a young age – and that we can offer them access to opportunities, training and development. This is something we strive to do at Summers-Inman.”
Summers-Inman offer many apprenticeship schemes to support the construction industry, with roles including; business administration, IT and data management.
There are also opportunities for surveying apprenticeship degree students, studying within quantity surveying and building surveying, to secure placements and gain practical experience.
A number of previous year placement students continue to work part-time with Summers-Inman while continuing with their final year at university – a credit to the level of support and hands on experience that Summers-Inman are committed to deliver to their team.
